Isaac Mizrahi
Sadly these are not from Isaac's Target line of shoes or I would own them now. Slightly pricier, these are really cute. There's something so summery about the white and brown stripes. But there's nothing casual about the fairly serious heel and sleek sole. I like the double straps--I think I could even walk in them. I'd wear these with linen. Linen pants and a cool white cotton tank top or a linen mini-dress, but only if I actually got a tan on my legs. Pony tail required.

I loved these shoes when I saw them at the grocery store attached to an attractive woman. It was only when I chopped and zoomed this photo that I saw the cautionary tale. If you have scaly red feet--don't wear shoes that show off the scaly redness. And for all of you who've occasionally criticized my non-pedicured feet--look what you could be looking at! I'd like to reiterate that these are NOT my feet. No scaly redness here. But anyway, back to the shoes. If you can get past the feet, great chocolate brown with a lovely tan contrast--one of my favorite combos. I love the ankle strap matching the thin stripe over the toes, though she doesn't have them quite symmetrical on both feet. Alright, enough with the criticism. The heel is cool too, the thin wide kind that I'm rather fond of. I'd wear these with a brown houndstooth skirt and a creamy camisole to a business lunch with the new up-and-coming young and handsome VP.

BCBG
It's not easy to make this color of green lovely and sexy but they've managed it. I love the twist over the toes. The asymetrical sides give great arch cleavage. And the heel is a simple tall peg. But mostly the the amazing green apple color--I can almost taste the sour sweetness. I'd wear these with a dress just the right shade of pink if I was feeling bold or a linen dress if I wasn't.

Steve Madden
A perfect example of how an average sandal can become fabulous with just the right detail. These sandals are sexy but simple for the most part. Nice double straps, a very high heel, and a basic rounded toe. But what makes them special is the fabulous black rhinestone buckles. They make these sandals fantastic. I'd wear them with the perfect little black dress, smoky eyeshadow, black rhinestone jewelry, to a cocktail bar with someone dark and handsome.

Stuart Weitzman
When my friends and I were shopping the other way, we gave a collective "Yum!" when we saw these. I think I might have drooled a little. These are simply fabulous. The color is dreamy, an almost metallic candy apple red. The snake-like curve to the sides is sensual. The heel is toweringly high--so much so that I'm sorry to say after several hours in a mall I couldn't bear to put them on. But oh, they're so delicious... I'd wear them with something slinky but not revealing, a long black skirt with a slit that doesn't go too high, a red boatnecked top, hair up, dangly rhinestone earrings (or diamond if I had some). Red lipstick, of course.

Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs seems to have a thing for balls this year. These are darling. If the little balls were fluffy or flowers or something I'd be appalled, too cutesy I'd say. But somehow these just look really playful. The pink ones are too much fun for words. Great sexy heel, to add some seriousness to the mix. I'd wear these with some kind of flirty short-skirted dress, maybe polka-dots if it wasn't just too much.
