VS

My friend Angie was very excited to show me these. And I admit they're pretty cool. I really like the warm gray suede, not a common shoe color. The toes are square but only at the tip, rounding down before the tip. And as ever I love an open toe and an ankle strap. What really makes them unique, though, is the thick but not too wedgy heel and the ribbon details. The combination of colors on the ribbons that run down the toe and up the back, brown and blue on the gray, is interesting and a nice contrast. If I had made them, I think I would have left out the zippers, which I think is one detail too much. But aside from that, I think they're great. And Angie loves them. She was wearing jeans when she put them on and that looked good. I think I'd wear them with denim capris and a baby blue marilyn top.

That's the second pair of shoes you've shown that I already own ;-). I like your taste. The others were the Marc Jacobs heels with the star. I have those in purple. I wore them with denim capris, a camisole, and a white satin blazer to a club. Worked great. These VS shoes I wear with khakis usually.

Alyssa,
I do not care for these shoes at all. Then again I am not partial to wedges or most suede shoes. Perhaps a pir of textured hose would help.
