Spiegel

Spiegel calls these mules, but they defy that definition. If these were mules in the true sense, they wouldn't have that ankle strap, and I suspect I wouldn't be able to walk in them. And without that strap, they wouldn't be nearly as delicious. I would never wear a blue shoe...except these. Such a rich color I mistook them for black at first. I like the little vneck on top. I love the teeny thin little heels. But the prize is the strap--something wonderfully, casually precarious about that strap, looking like it might slip at any moment. And the very smallest of buckles keeping it there. I'd wear these with a sheer just above the knee skirt, almost thin enough to see something one shouldn't, but not quite. And a blouse of the same design.

I'd call these 'Mules with Training Wheels' - for those who have trouble keeping regular mules on. They do have a nice classy/formal look to them though.

Once again I feel compelled to say that I do not sell anything. I merely post and appreciate. I try to say who the designer/brand is of the shoes I post and try to do a link if they're from a website. You just have to do the searching yourself if you want to buy them. I love the shoes, I wear the shoes, I long for the shoes, but I do not sell them. Good luck!
