Series Cole Haan

These are really sweet. Great cream and lavender colors. I like the strap that wants to be an ankle strap but doesn't go that far. And a very cute little buckle on the front. I'm not sure what's up with the bubbles on the sole but they're small enough that they don't detract. I'd wear these with any summery, flowy, preferably flowery dress during these last few sunny days of "Indian Summer".

Hi Alyssa,

Perhaps the bubbles are to make it look as if they are drilled out for lightness as these are fairly substantial platforms; the leather wrapped heel with the stand-off stitched seam is a nice touch too.

I wouldn't really have used the term 'sweet' which has rather insipid and ineffectual connotations. The effect off these shoes with the buckles and all, is that they are very strongly made and robust and yet very sexy too. The high instep strap is just at the right place to accentuate a strong arch and instep and the shoe (mule) looks just the thing for a strong and muscular female athletic leg; or at least one that gets plenty of exercise!

These are not 'shrinking violet' shoes and are definitely for the woman who has something of the Tigress in her; very edgy for today's self confident edgy women! I could imagine Lara Croft wearing these for evening or poolside functions.

You have strong feet and legs Alyssa, did you buy them?

Ciao

Mike

I think the color is gross. The heel I think is okay. However everyone is doing buckles, and these shoe look like any other sandal you could ever possibly buy, I give them a 3
