these are the top of the line for a party shoe. Just about any party where you will be dancing these shoes will make a statement. worn with a short skirt and great hose will sure gain comments from the guys. to where them during the day then add longer pants to dress them down but still say i am very confident and have power.

These are not new; some of these types of shoes have been around in the general public since at least 97! The black patent flared heel platform sandal (Vivian Westwood '93 style knock-off) and the similar 'crystal' one were seen all over the place. Most of the glamour photos from the last six years of the last century featured women in these kind of shoes.
Many of Jerry Springer's guests wore this kind of thing.
In the UK these were (and still are to some degree) "clubbing" (Disco!) shoes for gangs of "Ladettes" (girls behaving badly like lads or working class boys!). This is "Spice Girl" "Girl Power" stuff. The very pointed toe stilettos and stiletto crystal platforms (a la Pammy Anderson) have taken over now, at least for the older girls (17+). It is usually only the younger 13 to 16 year olds (and Pakistani girls for some strange reason) who wear this style of shoe now. Their mothers don't seem to think that they are particularly sexy!! Why do they think glamour models (photographed often in the working class press) and pole-dancers (seen on TV) used to wear them?
I'd like to see you in the outfit you mentioned Alyssa, perhaps you could walk up and down my back in the heels!
