The real Manolo Blahnik boots do not have a wooden or plastic heel. They have a 4" heel that is the same color and texture of the boot.

The Manolo Blahnik store in NY isn't even selling them anymore, (212)582-3007, they have to be special ordered. You might run into somebody on EBAY who really bought them in the wrong size because they run small.

Most of them are fakes that you see. Sometimes it even has manolo stampings on the fakes. The real ones have a 4 inch pencil thin stiletto heel. they are still available at neiman marcus, all you have to do is go to neiman marcus' website, and use the store locator, and call the stores to see what they have available. The store in New York does not have any, by the way. I would be real careful because I see knockoffs that look incredibly similiar to the real ones. Some of the sellers on ebay claim theirs are real but are lying( of course some of them are real). Someone blasted Manolo Blahnik for "using" Timberland's name. Let me set it straight...the boot is called "Okla Mod" and no where on it, in it or on the box is Timberland mentioned. The boot became known on the street as the "Timberland Manolo" because of it's resemblance to a work boot, which many companies make. I don't see how anyone can blast someone for wanting the "original" Blahnik design. Manolo Blahnik has been "the man" in shoemaking for over 30 years.
